Tapestry, a Tayana 55 is a classically designed vessel with a cutter rig, centerboard, center cockpit and spacious aft deck. These design elements combine to provide exceptional comfort and excellent sailing performance; the perfect blend of performance and livability. Each Tayana 55 layout is custom designed.
Tapestry sailed primarily in New England waters and docked in a sheltered harbor each summer. The owners commissioned a survey of the vessel and have reduced the price as an incentive for buyers. This vessel is ready to take you on unforgettable voyages. She features an in-mast furling mainsail, furling genoa and staysail, with a sleek dodger and bimini designed to provide protection along with a high degree of visibility Below deck, the interior features rich teak joinery with a large main salon that provides a comfortable living area, accompanied by a sea-worthy and well-appointed galley. The accommodations include an incredible aft cabin with an ensuite head and separate shower, two cabins forward, each with two single bunks; one cabin with an ensuite head and shower. There is also a day head. All cabins are air-conditioned as is the main salon. Additionally, Tapestry is equipped with a 110Hp Yanmar Diesel, 8Kw Westerbeke Generator, and a full suite of electronics.
