Other Tartan boats for sale in Maryland, United States
The graceful sheerline of this modern classic will immediately draw your eye. What you can't see is the technology and advanced construction practices used by the designer and builders at Tartan. Comfort and safety are high priority, and this Tartan 4300 has incorporated a thoughtfully designed deck, deep cockpit, and wide side decks that will meet or exceed your expectations.
The self tacking jib makes single handed sailing as simple as driving a car. The carbon mast saves weight aloft which translates into having three 200lb crew members sitting on the rail. The epoxy hull and core cell foam core keeps the hull weight down and prevents osmosis (blistering), thus the 15 year new boat hull warranty (10 years on a used boat) which is an industry high.
"Piantao" has sailed completed her 9,000 mile cruise starting from St. Augustine,Florida through the Caribbean down to Uruguay and back via Cancun and finally now in Annapolis, Maryland. I was able to do the final 1200 miles from Key West to Annapolis (8 days) and the boat handled very well out in the Ocean. She has all the equipment that one needs for distance cruising or just weekend sailing. Short handed sailing with the self tacking jib makes sailing a breeze. Her cherry interior and teak flooring are beautiful making her look and feel like a proper yacht. She has been brought to Annapolis to be sold as her owner has completed his "Bucket List" cruise. All offers are encouraged. Please come sea her at The Annapolis Fall Boat Show over in the Brokerage Section of the Show or call for an appointment to see her after the show,
