Accommodations
The Tartan 3500 was an extremely successful model for Tartan. They built over 150 of them from 1992 until 2006. Heartsong is a late 1992 model Hull # 22. Forward is a nice double vee berth with plenty of ventilation, as well as dual bureau and drawer storage. The main salon has plenty of natural ventilation and light from the many opening port- lights. The teak interior is in great shape, as is the teak n holy sole and the navy blue fabric. The starboard settee converts to a double bunk when needed. This was a custom option of which Tartan did not do very often. Galley is large with the nav desk aft to starboard, which gives the galley an even larger feel for a 35 footer. Front and top access to the icebox, which has refrigeration. Nav desk is aft facing behind the galley and has all the 12 vdc and 110 vac breakers as well as VHF and stereo. Under the nav seat is the custom configured battery bank with 2-4D batteries ( 300+ AH ) Head with stall shower is directly across from the galley with the aft cabin tucked in to port aft of the head. This layout was very popular and continues to offer a nice cruising platform for a 35 footer.
