Interior Accommodations

The Tartan 34-2 offers a warm, handcrafted teak interior with an efficient layout that comfortably accommodates family cruising or extended weekends aboard.

Forward Stateroom
The private forward cabin features a spacious 6'4" V-berth with an insert that converts the space into a large double berth. The berth sections can also be easily removed to create a generous sail storage area. Natural light and ventilation are provided by a large Lewmar anodized aluminum overhead hatch, while shelving outboard on both sides offers convenient storage. A large hanging locker is located aft to starboard, and bi-fold doors provide privacy from the main salon. Twin reading lights complete the cabin.

Main Salon
The inviting salon provides comfortable seating and excellent versatility. The port settee converts into a double berth and houses the freshwater tank beneath, with additional storage behind and below. Opposite is a full-length starboard settee with the fuel tank beneath and more storage aft. Both settees are complemented by enclosed cabinets, bookshelves, and abundant storage throughout. A fold-away bulkhead-mounted dining table opens for meals and stows neatly when not in use, maximizing cabin space. The interior has been updated with all new salon cushions, creating a fresh and comfortable living area. Courtesy lighting accents the classic teak-and-holly sole, while 110V AC outlets are conveniently located throughout the cabin at the navigation station, galley, head, and port settee.

Navigation Station
The dedicated navigation station features a generous 30" x 42" chart table with storage below, a comfortable contoured navigator's seat with a removable backrest for easy access to the aft cabin, and professionally installed navigation instruments.

Quarter Berth
A spacious aft quarter berth provides comfortable sleeping accommodations for two and benefits from excellent ventilation through a large opening port, making it an ideal guest cabin or secure sea berth.
