The Silverton 442 is built on a solid fiberglass modified V hull, the overall length is 46' plus the factory install swim platform. The motor yacht is powered with very well-maintained economical twin 3116 turbocharged Caterpillars at 350HP each, allowing the motor yacht to cruise at 20 Knots. The 442 Silverton has a Kohler 9KW generator.

This vessel has been very well-maintained and it shows well inside and outside. In January 2017, the Silverton got fresh bottom paint. If you are looking for a motor yacht for under $110,000, please consider this vessel. The S442 was in production from 1996 through 2001. She is a versatile motor yacht and a roomy vessel. She has two private comfortable staterooms with double berths along with very good storage. Two heads with Vacu flush toilets, each head has a stall showers. There is a full dinette along with a good size galley which includes a Princess 3-burner range and great storage. The wraparound salon windows allow an abundance of natural light into the salon.

The 442 has a large factory added swim platform with swim ladder. From the swim platform you go through the starboard side transom gate into the cockpit, which has a transom bench seat with cover; there is a dock box to store cleaning products and lines. There is an entrance way into the master aft stateroom through the sliding patio doors from the cockpit. This is a great way to enter the boat when you’re laden down with groceries or need to handle lines in a lock or just wake up, the doors are open and the water is right there. These doors do have a removable cover which eliminates sunlight and protects the interior.

You will get access to the 9 KW Kohler generator compartment through the cockpit sole. Please note that this engine room does have its own fire suppression system.

Holding onto the grab rail and up a couple of steps and you are on the aft deck. The aft deck has a fiberglass hard top with a full Strataglass enclosure, the Strataglass was installed in 2014 and is in wonderful condition. On the aft deck is a wet bar with sink and a new U-line icemaker. For seating there is an aft bench seat. Note that the cockpit and the aft deck, along with the bridge, have fresh marine carpet installed in 2016.

The bridge has an inline helm. The bridge area is protected with a new Sunbrella Strataglass enclosure with six opening windows that you can open for natural ventilation. The instruments at the helm include a color Garmin 5212 touch screen chart plotter, Garmin HD Radar, ICOM VHF radio and Raytheon Autopilot. All the gauges are clear, not cracked, all the rocker switches are in great condition along with the throttles and shifters. For seating there is a triple-wide helm seat and in front of the helm is another triple-wide helm seat with storage under it, with numerous cup holders.

You enter the salon through a tinted salon door. The interior is clean, there are no foul odors, and there is cherry trim throughout the interior. On the starboard side in the salon is a freshly upholstered L-shaped sofa bed. There are two wicker chairs and a heavy duty salon coffee table. Port and starboard, sliding salon windows have one-inch blinds. On the port side is good hull side storage, the electrical panel, and the entertainment center. The salon sole is carpeted and access to a very clean engine room is through the salon sole.

Forward of the salon and down is the galley on the starboard side and a dinette to port. The dinette is spacious; under the seat you will see the new main cabin AC unit and the new invertor charger. The galley is opposite with great storage, wood veneer sole, New Norcold upright fridge freezer installed in 2017, and a Princess electric range with oven and three-burner cooktop. Forward of the dinette and the galley is the guest day head. The head has a stall shower a new Vacuflush toilet and two solid privacy doors, one for the guest stateroom and the other for the folks using the head from the salon. The forward guest stateroom has a large berth and a mirrored bulkhead. This stateroom has its own climate-controlled thermostat, great storage, a deck hatch, and a sliding privacy door to the salon.

The owner’s stateroom is aft with sliding patio doors through to the cockpit; these sliding acrylic doors have privacy curtains and screen. This room has an aft facing inline walk-around bed and a mirrored bulk head.

Looking forward and on your port side is a vanity and make-up mirror, pullout drawers and closets, and pullout drawers under the bed. Located under the bed is the aft AC unit and the climate control panel is mounted on the wall above the bed. The bathroom is on the starboard side with a sliding privacy door, the head has a Vacuflush toilet, stall shower, and storage under the countertops.

The exterior of the boat has a shine. The owner has installed a new windlass with foot controls at the bow along with bow cushion. There are good hand rails throughout the boat, she has good walkways from the aft deck to the bow.
