The 1980 Shannon 38 ketch Hull #51 "Generoso" features exceptional strength, comfortable accommodation and deck arrangement, and superior sea-keeping ability allowing short handed sailing. This Shannon 38 needs work but can be restored to her former glory by the right owner.
The forward double Vberth is adjacent to the spacious head; the main salon has two pull-out settee berths with a pilot berth to port in the main salon; the seagoing galley is opposite the navigation table with seat. There are large lockers outboard of the settee back rests along with drawers under one settee. The teak double leaf centerline dining table easily seats six and has a center storage compartment. There are two hatches, 12 bronze opening portlights and fans circulation.
Aft of the salon is a generous sit down navigation center with built-in electronics console with drawer bank under. There is storage under the nav table which is adjacent to the companionway steps. Opposite the navigation center is a U-shaped galley with twin stainless sinks, drawer bank, many storage lockers and properly insulated refrigeration box.
Forward of the salon is the head with shower. Opposite the head is a shelf locker and a full hanging locker. The forward cabin has a double berth to starboard with shelves above and bureau can be used as a work bench.
