GO TO SEA
Most trawler shoppers are comparing this boat to the Asian trawlers built in the same era. That would be like comparing a mobile home to a stone manor house circa 1800ish. This is a solid, tough, low maintenance go to sea vessel with a continuous duty commercial Caterpillar power plant. Newer gen set, wiring, exterior paint, interior upgrades... hell of a package for this price. She is a work horse finish with the cosmetics of a commercial boat. Don't expect highly vanished teak and holly soles. This is a bulldozer.
NAMASTE is a Durbeck built Steve Seaton designed 48 Pilothouse offered by her second owner. The boat was completed and commissioned in 1979. Long list of recent updates include generator, rewired, main engine overhaul (crank bearings to cyl kits 5300SMOH), Naiad stabilizers, flat screen TV. Namaste Looks good, rugged construction and comfortable. Recently offered for sale. Owners now have other interest. This is a good opportunity for people who want to go the distance in a real deal US built displacement trawler. Masts fold down or can be easily removed for lower clearance requirements.
