Vessel Walkthrough

At first glance you must be impressed with the sleek hull design and fiberglass hardtop.  The design was truly way ahead of its time when built.  Although she is called the 46 Sundancer, she is really 51’ 4” including the hydraulic swim platform.  The swim platform has a concealed swim ladder, and the transom compartment houses the boats Glendinning Cablemaster shore power cord system. Her 14 feet 8-inch beam helps create a spacious cockpit for fishing, entertaining, relaxing in the open air or that evening cocktail at sunset.

There is generous seating in the cockpit area with an aft bench settee along the transom and an aft-facing curved bench seat that backs up to the helm seating. There is a movable table between the seats which can be stored if you need the additional space for fishing, diving or other water activities.  There is also storage, a wet bar and a DC Panel breaker in the cockpit area.  The engine room is accessible through a hatch in the cockpit deck.  The engine room provides adequate headroom and space for the  low hour 446HP Cummins CE diesels and the Northern Lights Generator.  The engine room is gel coated and very clean.  There are underwater exhausts and engine room components are easily accessible.

As you move forward from the cockpit the beautifully appointed and well-equipped helm station is located under the hardtop. You will find very nice digital engine displays, gauges and electronics.  This area offers the captain and companion a very functional, air-conditioned area with excellent visibility.  The helm and seating are located on the starboard side leaving the port side for access to the cabin.

As you enter the cabin area you have to be impressed with the blossom cherry wood finishes, deep pile carpeting, and light-colored accents and head liner which give you a very open feeling.

On the port side you will find the galley with generous cabinet and drawer space.  The galley counter is large and houses your appliances including a coffee maker, microwave/convection oven, a three-burner stove as well as the refrigerator/freezer.

The main salon has additional storage in cherry wood cabinets above the very comfortable Ultraleather seating which turns into a slide-out berth for additional sleeping accommodations.

There is a moveable oval-shaped high-low table in the middle of the salon as well as a flat screen TV forward of the galley.

There are two vacuflush heads, one forward off the Master Stateroom with a separate stall shower, vanity and adequate storage.  The other is near the aft stateroom.

The forward stateroom has a full-size center line berth with storage underneath and has two cedar lined hanging lockers as well.  There is also a TV and surround sound stereo system in the Master

The aft stateroom has been upgraded and has a full-sized berth, a cedar lined hanging locker and a TV.  Both staterooms have sliding doors to assure complete privacy.

This one owner boat has had tender loving care since new and will offer the next owner many happy years on the water.  Please email or call the broker to answer any questions or arrange a showing at your convenience.

Overview

The Sea Ray 460 Sundancer represents the latest evolution in the Sundancer lineup, designed to fill a specific niche within the series by incorporating lessons learned from previous models and customer feedback. This model emphasizes a combination of luxury, comfort, and practical features, continuing Sea Ray's tradition of quality craftsmanship and thoughtful design.

Exterior Design and Cockpit

Boarding the 460 Sundancer begins at the teak-covered hydraulic swim platform, which extends 4 feet 8 inches and includes central brackets for mounting a small tender or personal watercraft. A remote control for the platform is stored in a concealed locker to starboard, with a master switch powering the system. Beneath the platform is a reboarding ladder, complemented by a handhold embedded in the decking for ease of water reentry. To port, flush-mounted stairs automatically rise when the platform is lowered, facilitating side deck access. Forward of the platform, ample storage is available, currently housing life jackets, and a hatch conceals an electric grill alongside a sink—features that preserve cockpit openness for socializing. The cockpit itself features L-shaped seating with removable cushions to ease boarding from fixed piers. The seating includes premium upholstery with diamond stitching and flip-down armrests, with storage beneath. A pedestal table can be mounted to complete the seating area. With the touch of a button, the seating slides back 16 inches toward the swim platform, expanding the usable space. Opposite the L-shaped seating is a bench seat adjacent to stairs leading to the side deck. Overhead, an extendable shore shade awning provides protection from the elements, while venting in the overhead structure allows airflow to mitigate exhaust accumulation during following seas. Symmetrical side decks with 29-inch high rails and grab rails lead forward to the bow, where adjustable sun pads offer leg support or can be lifted into a lounge position, flanked by stainless steel grab rails.

Interior Living Spaces

Accessed through sliding glass doors, the interior of the 460 Sundancer features a centrally located galley with a ceiling height of 7 feet 2 inches, enhancing the open and airy atmosphere. The galley spans both sides of the passageway, with an L-shaped counter to port offering generous workspace. It includes a two-burner cooktop, a single basin stainless steel sink beneath a cover, and a decorative backsplash that contains spills on the upgraded Silestone quartz countertop. Below the counter are a convection microwave, storage compartments, a stainless grab handle, and an ice maker. The salon TV is mounted on a swivel mechanism, allowing it to face either the salon or the cockpit. Additional counter space and storage are located opposite, along with a side-by-side refrigerator and freezer. Transitioning into the salon, an 8-inch step leads down to opposing seating arrangements: a two-person loveseat to starboard and an L-shaped sofa to port. A teak pedestal table with a high-gloss dark cherry veneer finish can be moved aside to convert the sofa into a sleeper. The entertainment system, including a Bose surround sound head unit, is housed in an enclosed cabinet at the end of the sofa. An opening sunroof overhead further integrates the indoor and outdoor environments.

Private Accommodations

Below deck, the accommodations begin with an open atrium illuminated by natural light from above. The master stateroom, located aft, offers a spacious feel with 6 feet 2 inches of overhead clearance at the center, tapering to 5 feet 8 inches at the sides. A queen-size berth is centered in the room, flanked by hall side windows with matching wood trim and corner-mounted shelves. Storage includes a full-length cedar closet and a smaller closet to starboard. A 32-inch television is mounted forward, with a concealed washer-dryer combination below and surround sound speakers nearby. Subdued lighting accents the wood trim, and a full-length mirror is positioned at the entrance. The en-suite head features mirrored storage cabinets above a vessel sink set in a Corian countertop, a hall side window with an opening port light, and a walk-in shower. Additional storage is accessible from the atrium. A day head with private access to the VIP stateroom is also located on this level. The VIP stateroom forward contains an island berth flanked by hall side windows and illuminated by an overhead hatch. The berth can be separated into two single berths in a scissor configuration to accommodate non-couple guests. The room includes an upholstered headboard with high-gloss cherry woodwork, a 24-inch television, cedar closets on both sides, and integrated surround sound.

Conclusion

The Sea Ray 460 Sundancer continues the brand's legacy of luxury, fit, and finish, delivering a spacious and comfortable interior with a solid build quality. The thoughtful layout and premium materials provide an exceptional level of comfort, while the exterior features enhance usability and social interaction.
