She's built on a deep-V hull with a solid fiberglass bottom, a moderate beam, and prop pockets to reduce the shaft angles of her V-drive CAT diesel engines. The spacious interior floorplan of the 400 Sundancer is arranged in the conventional manner with the owner's stateroom forward, an open galley to port in the main cabin, and a mid-cabin stateroom/settee with a sliding privacy door for guests. You'll note that there's a second head adjoining the mid-cabin settee conversion - a very desirable bonus feature for an express of this size . The forward head has a stall shower with seat, and the level of fit and finish throughout is second to none. Topside, the huge U-shaped cockpit lounge will seat a small crowd, and the entire aft section of the cockpit sole rises electrically without moving the aft seat for engine access. Expansive helm layout with double seating next to the captain's chair. Foldaway boarding steps, a radar arch, and a transom storage locker were standard.
As you can see by the photos and video, this boat is in exceptional condition for her 26 years, runs superbly, and is ready for many more coastal adventures! There is new trim carpet purchased and being installed in the mid-cabin settee soon. She also comes with a Magma stainless-steel BBQ and an inflatable 9' tender with 9hp electric motor. The hydraulic swim platform is no longer operational and is welded securely into position. The season is here and the Pacific is calling...
