1998 Sea Ray 270 Sundancer in very nice condition mechanically and cosmetically. The engine has been upgraded to a 383 MAG Bravo 4V putting out 350 horsepower.
The 270 is the first step up to "bigger" boats in the Sundancer line - it has the convertible dinette in the salon as well as the power and weight to take on bigger weather. With the newer full camper enclosure, you can extend your season and enjoy all that boating has to offer.
This boat is in very nice condition cosmetically as well as mechanically. All surfaces in the cockpit and down below are clean and free of signs of excessive wear. All upholstery is soft and lean, and no rips or tears were noted on my recent visit.
The cockpit is spacious and well laid out. Opposing settees offer loads of seating and have a panel to fill in for a sun bed or extra berths when needed. There is also a helm seat with bolster and a side seat for companions when underway. There is a gate at the transom, an exterior shower, and numerous storage compartments.
The helm is well laid out with full instrumentation and updated electronics. Controls for throttle, steering, trim tabs and stereo are all conveniently located. Additionally, there is a VHF radio and a GPS-plotter with large display. There is a walkthrough windshield for convenient bow access.
The cabin is clean and inviting. A forward vee with storage is followed by a galley and enclosed head to starboard. The galley offers fridge, microwave, sink and storage compartments for all your gear.
The head has a toilet, sink, storage, shower and storage. The opening port is here as well as multiple others in the cabin for fresh air. Hatches and ports are equipped with screens.
As elsewhere, all surfaces and upholstery were observed to be clean and free of stains or odors often found in boats.
There is a large mid-berth under the cockpit for additional guests. This area too is equipped with opening and screened ventilation.
