THE MECHANICAL PROJECT
The engine runs and has excellent, even compression across all cylinders (no head gasket issues). However, water was discovered mixing into the engine oil at the very end of the season. To protect the engine from internal corrosion, it was immediately hauled, fully drained of all water, professionally fogged, and winterized by a local marine mechanic.
Because the engine block may require an intake gasket fix or a block replacement, the boat is being priced strictly as a project hull.
ACCOMODATIONS
Starting forward, the spotless V-berth has pristine cushions and is set off by warm cherry wood cabinetry throughout the cabin. Moving aft, the galley’s cabinets and countertop are in excellent condition. It has a microwave, refrigerator, stove burner and a freshwater sink, so it’s ready for weekends aboard.Across from the galley, the enclosed head has a VacuFlush toilet and its own freshwater sink. Farther aft, the mid-cabin berth tucks beneath the cockpit and gives guests a private place to sleep, adding to the boat’s overnight capacity.
