Description

This highly customized 35’ walk-around sport fisherman was designed for serious fishing.  It is the perfect platform for South Florida sailfishing and swordfishing as well as Bahamas and NE canyon trolling/chunking.  The walk-around with inboard mounted tower legs allows full 360 degree fish fighting capability (for multiple hook-ups or swordfish drifting). The twin diesels provide maneuverability, reliability and economy, and the forward cuddy provides a V-berth with plenty of “always on board” tackle and gear storage.  The cabin features 2 side-by-side berths with a filler cushion creating 1 oversized berth with custom rod storage underneath.  There are 2 kite rod holders, 26 hanging rod holders, and a storage area for multiple kites.  The hanging locker stores a helium tank for kite balloons as well as dive tank and gear.  A workbench with lockers below and a sliding door locker above replaces the usual galley area.  A custom designed helm seat provides a highly functional and ergonomic tackle center/rigging station/live well instead of the usual pedestal chair.  There are 2 permanent live wells and a portable pitch bait well plumbed into the bow. The cockpit is also plumbed for 2 additional on deck wells or tuna tubes.  The cockpit accommodates a 6 rod rocket launcher and a removable IGFA approved stand-up battle station.  The hull has 4 underwater lights for night swordfish/bait fishing and an Armstrong bracket on the transom for diving/swimming.  Under gunwale storage includes brackets for gaffs, harpoon, tag stick, deck brushes, and 2 fly rod tubes.  5 high power Odyssey batteries provide a 24-hour reserve capacity at 25 Amps for overnight offshore fishing.  The electronic controls include trolling valves and synchronizer, which combined with the autopilot, allows the ability for a one-man fishing operation.

Broker's Comments

Paul Scopinich builds a gorgeous 35’ walk-around sport fisherman with truly beautiful lines.  You’ll find plenty of room in the 100 sq. ft. cockpit for all types of fishing.  The walk-around allows the skipper to go forward to tend bow lines, or set an anchor without having to climb up or down and there is no step in the deck for a hooked up angler to trip over if he or she circles the boat while fighting a fish.  She is one of the nicest diesel powered, serious angler day boats ever designed, boasting a  26-knot cruise while making 34 knots on the pins.  A proven fish-raiser as well as a head turner – don’t miss this rare find!

Helm

The helm features a power raised electronics dashboard flanked by fore and aft seating and an additional overhead electronics box.  There is deck area forward of the helm for carry on coolers.  The helm seat features a highly functional work station complete with: 3 storage/tackle lockers, 1 tackle locker with 4 Plano trays, cutting board/rigging station, 3 rod holders/2 cup holders, 2 leader dispensers, 40 gallon live well, and fore and aft facing seats.  The entire helm deck is mounted on a hydraulic deck hatch providing access to the engine room.
