The Riviera 43 is one of the most versatile, capable vessels ever made in this price range. The modified deep V hull handles rugged offshore conditions with ease. And the large cockpit is perfect for fishing for 4 to 6 anglers, or gathering with family and friends.
The roomy cockpit features a freezer, storage cabinets, and sink as well as direct access to a spacious, well-arranged engine room. Topside, the flybridge is large for a 43-footer with an L-shaped lounge forward and a re-movable table.
The beautiful interior and yacht-grade accommodations easily handles 2 couples or families with children for extended cruising. Very few vessels in this class offer two complete separate heads with large showers.
The interior shows beautifully with wool carpets, custom upholstery and drapes, and the centerpiece iis a custom built teak command chair by Tony Ferrari, master shipwright of the San Francisco Bay Area. The seat locks into position, or can be moved anywhere in the salon.
The teak table easily seats 6 guests, and is perfectly proportioned to allow easy movement around the salon and galley without having to unseat your guests at the table.
The brilliant design of the cockpit and deckhouse make accessing the flybridge or side decks easy for small children, or older guests. Heavy duty handrails are perfectly located in key positions, and quality metalwork is evident throughout the vessel.
The ladder to the flybridge is at a gentle angle, with wide steps making it much easier and safer than most vertical metal ladders. Everything has been designed and constructed to be safe and easy to use in rough seas.
The interior accommodations feature a large master suite forward, with walkaround queen berth and separate head to port. Aft of the master suite is the VIP guest suite with two large single berths. This could be easily converted to a single queen if desired. The guest head is directly accessed from this stateroom with a large separate stall shower.
Just aft of the two suites is the large L shaped galley with induction cooktop, microwave, and the large stainless steel over-under fridge. Note this is not just any basic household fridge unit, this is a true holding plate unit with separate compressor mounted in the engine room for reduced noise and increased energy efficiency. The attention to detail is amazing, like the molded-in drainboard for the galley sink, and the custom bar storage racks for bottles and glassware.
Another great design feature is the large central fuel tank under the cockpit, which gives complete access to the outboard sides of both engines. The fuel tank is heavy gauge fiberglass so there are no worries about old corroding, leaking metal tanks. All of the mechanical systems are within easy reach and servicing the engines and equipment is made much easier than having the tanks squeezed in outboard of the engines. The 420Hp Cat engines are clean and tidy, with no major leaks, rust, or visible issues.
Aft of the engine room, there are two huge full-width storage lockers, accessed via the two cockpit hatches. There is super easy access to the steering gear, plumbing, and fuel fittings.
The twin 420 hp Caterpillar 3208 Diesel engines give a remarkable speed of 14 to 16 knots at a very efficient 10 GPH per engine, and the modified deep V hull provides the perfect blend of planing efficiency and rough water handling. Top speed is over 23 knots, and with nearly 600 gallons of fuel, you have a long range to safely cruise anywhere you wish to travel.
The beautiful interior and yacht-grade accommodations easily handles 2 couples or families with children for extended cruising. Very few vessels in this class offer two complete separate heads with large stall showers. The clever design and quality construction allow the 43 convertible to do a variety of tasks unlike many other single-purpose vessels.
Built in Australia for the rugged seas and offshore fishing that is so common in Southern latitudes.

Another genius design feature is the large central FRP fuel tank under the cockpit, which gives complete access to the outboard sides of both engines. This is a rarely found in vessels of this size. All of the mechanical systems are within easy reach and servicing the engines and equipment is made much easier than having the tanks squeezed in near the engines. The 420Hp Cat engines are perfectly clean, tidy, with no major leaks, rust, or visible issues. Major engine service was completed recently.

The flybridge helm is a tournament design, meaning the helm station is aft, which gives the helmsperson 100% visibility aft while fighting a Marlin or backing into a slip, while still proving exception forward visibility while cruising. The result of having the aft helm is unparalleled seating for family and guests. 2X captains, chairs, a port side lounge and a large starboard side settee.
The lower helm is located in the forward starboard side of main salon. Thanks to Riviera's salon design, the lower helm provides almost a 360 degree view for the helmsperson.
