The Regal 50 SAV is a newly unveiled 50-foot, 5-inch sports activity vessel that combines uncompromised fishing capabilities with luxurious day boating amenities. With a beam of 14 feet, 7 inches, a fuel capacity of 632 gallons, and a dry weight of 33,500 pounds, this model represents Regal's most significant launch in a decade. Designed to excel in fishing, entertaining, and various water sports, the 50 SAV builds upon the success of its smaller predecessors, the 33 and 38 SAV, while establishing itself as a distinct and versatile yacht.

Exterior Design and Cockpit Features

The expansive open cockpit is a standout feature, enhanced by electric fold-down terraces on both sides that significantly increase the usable space, effectively transforming the swim platform area. When raised, these terraces provide protection and privacy, while port and starboard tuna doors facilitate easy access from floating docks. The transom is equipped with triple 600 V12 Mercury engines, complemented by stainless steel rigging for a clean, polished look. Wide side decks allow for safe and comfortable movement around the vessel. Fishing amenities include twin 30-gallon pressurized live wells, eight rocket launchers with rod holders, dedicated tackle storage on both sides, and two 33-gallon fish boxes integrated into the deck. A unique stern anchor storage compartment is also featured, catering to anglers who frequently use this equipment. Seating in the cockpit is ample and stylish, with flip-down rear seats and opposing lounges that include heated and air-conditioned backrests. Additional conveniences include chiller boxes for beverages, an optional ice maker producing nugget ice, and an electrically lowering outdoor TV integrated into the hardtop.

Technology and Systems

The 50 SAV is outfitted with advanced electronics, including a Garmin multifunction display that provides detailed electrical system information such as house bank capacity and power flow. This display is strategically positioned to allow anglers to monitor the Garmin CHIRP fish finder with exceptional clarity. The vessel features Regal's Live Power system, which automatically manages the generator by sensing battery levels and activating or deactivating it as needed, ensuring seamless operation without operator intervention. Additionally, a SeaKeeper gyro stabilizer is installed to enhance onboard comfort by reducing vessel roll.

Flybridge and Outdoor Galley

Beneath the hardtop lies a well-appointed outdoor galley equipped with twin electric grills, a sink and prep station with a cutting board, and dual refrigerators with three large drawers each. Thoughtful design extends to twin large trash can storage compartments on both port and starboard sides. Dual-purpose seats provide additional prep space when needed. The flybridge offers mezzanine-style seating that allows guests to comfortably engage in fishing activities while shaded, enjoy meals at the counter, and keep devices charged via induction charging stations. This area is designed to maximize social interaction and functionality during sport fishing or leisure cruising.

Bow and Helm Station

The bow area serves as another inviting entertainment space, featuring ample seating with bolsters, integrated cup holders, phone chargers, speakers, and storage compartments beneath the seats. A removable table can be installed for dining or socializing. Access to the anchor locker, windlass, and freshwater rinse hose is conveniently located forward, along with a boarding assist handhold for safe access from the bow. The helm station is comprehensively equipped with three large multifunction displays, full vessel control systems including lighting and bilge management, and a FLIR camera for enhanced situational awareness. Additional features include air conditioning vents, induction chargers, joystick controls, a Fusion audio system, and a unique Garmin control integrated into the armrests of the helm seats, allowing operators to manage vessel systems without leaving their seats.

Interior Living Spaces

The cabin interior is surprisingly spacious and bright, benefiting from natural light through a skylight. Comfortable seating surrounds the main salon area, which includes ample storage and dedicated rod lockers lined with cedar to protect fishing gear. A versatile table mounts into the deck for meals or cocktails and can be lowered to convert the seating area into an additional berth. The starboard side houses a generously sized head with a full walk-in shower, toilet, and vanity with storage, providing comfort and convenience for extended outings.

Forward of the salon is a full-beam stateroom featuring what appears to be a king-sized bed flanked by long hull-side windows on both sides, allowing for natural light and ventilation. The stateroom includes modern amenities such as a microwave, enhancing the vessel's suitability for day trips and overnight stays.
