The mid-cabin stateroom features twin berths, ensuite head, and a pocket door for privacy. A U-shaped sofa and full-service galley occupy the salon which is notable for its full standing headroom. The cockpit can be accessed from both sides of the extended swim platform, and the center section of the deck lifts for access the engines and drives. Unlike some manufacturers of this era who installed pod drives in hulls originally designed for inboard power, Regal engineers designed the hull of the 42 Sport Coupe specifically for Volvo IPS pod drives.
