Ranger Tugs are highly capable, trailerable "pocket yachts" and trawlers designed for versatile, go-anywhere cruising. Famous for their distinctive, tugboat-inspired look, they are hand-built in the USA by Fluid Motion and designed to easily go from the Pacific Northwest to the Great Lakes. They pack an incredible amount of livability into a small footprint, featuring full galleys, enclosed wet heads, and convertible seating/berths that maximize space. Their combination of trailerability, shallow draft, and bridge clearances makes them wildly popular for boaters attempting the Great Loop. The Ranger Tugs R-25 is designed for coastal and inland cruising. Powered by a single Yamaha 200 or 250 HP outboard, it features an 8'6" beam, sleeps up to six people, and offers creature comforts like an enclosed head, air conditioning, and a full galley. Despite its 25-foot classification, it is remarkably spacious. Features include a private forward stateroom, an aft mid-berth, and a convertible dinette. On the exterior, there is foldaway seating and an extended platform that wraps around the outboard engine, creating a safe, unencumbered walkway that makes netting fish, boarding a dinghy, or docking much easier.
