The Pursuit S 368 Sport is elegant where many center consoles are stark, comfy where many are not, and just as much at home on a family cruise to the islands as she is stalking big game offshore.
The boat's actual center console conceals a double berth that converts to a sofa, a functional (albeit mini) galley, and an enclosed head with VacuFlush toilet and hot shower. The cockpit has in-deck fish boxes to port and starboard, rod holders along the gunwale and a 28-gallon livewell. For family time, fold down the transom settee, slide out the hidden barbecue grill and reach into the Isotherm fridge for a cold one.
The S 368's raised mezzanine seating under the hardtop is just as well-suited for keeping the kid's out of the sun as it is for protecting anglers while they watch their lines off the 18-foot Top Gun telescoping outriggers. Additionally, a Makefast awning emerges from the hardtop to shade the cockpit.
That hardtop, by the way, isn't just a bolt-on T-top. It's engineered to be strong enough to hold an additional helm station on top of it. The area forward has seating that wraps around the bow, as well as lounge seating atop the cabin with folding armrests and a fold-down beverage holder, and a cocktail/dining table that stows in a well. Shade comes via an awning from the pilothouse that covers the entire area, braced by carbon-fiber poles.
Power is provided via triple 300 hp Yamaha F300s that are good for about a 28 knot cruise speed and top end of about 42 knots.
Some other nice, upgraded touches aboard the Pursuit S 368 Sport include (2) 16" Garmin Multi functional display screens, joystick docking, open array radar, remote spotlight, stitched upholstery and fine wood accents. A bow thruster in addition to joystick piloting for makes handling in close quarters a breeze; the boat also features a 4.2 kW Fischer Panda diesel generator to keep the cabin and pilothouse chilled throughout the summer with weather curtains installed.
