THIS 1981 20' PRIVATEER HAS UNDERWNT A COMPLETE AND EXTENSIVE REFIT / OVERHAUL WITH NO EXPENSES SPARED . MYSELF AND A PROFESSIONAL FIBERGLASS SHOP OWNER WITH MANY REFITS TO HIS CREDIT HAVE JUST FINISHED THIS PROJECT. ONCE THE HELM AND LEANING POST WERE REMOVED THE TRANSOM AND DECK WERE CUT OUT AND REMOVED . FOLLOWING ; ALL BULKHEADS AND STRINGERS WERE CUT OUT AND REMOVED LEAVING ONLY THE FIBERGLASS SHELL OF THE HULL . ( AGAIN THRU THIS REBUILD VERY LITTLE WOOD WAS USED . MAINLY COMPOSITE , VIRTUALLY ENSURING VERY LITTLE TO NO FUTURE ROT .REFIT LIST INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO ::::::

1) REMOVING CONSOLE , LEANING POST , DECK , TRANSOM .

2) REMOVING ALL SATURATED FOAM , CUT BULKHEADS AND STRINGERS OUT . 

3) SECURE AND CLEAN INSIDE OF HULL.

4) MANUFACTURE AND INSTALL NEW BULKHEAD / STRINGER SYSTEM . ALL STRINGER AND BULKHEADS WERE GLASSED TO HULL AND PAINTED OVER . 

5) INSTALL CUSTOM ALUMINUM 44 GALLON FUEL TANK . GLASSED AND FOAMED INTO PLACE.

6) AT THIS TIME DECK WAS RAISED 1 1/4 INCHES TO ENSURE A SELF BAILING HULL / DECK / COCKPIT.

7) ADD NEW HELM CONSOLE AND LEANING POST.

8) INSTALL NEW FUSION / CLARION AUDIO SYSTEM . 

9) INSTALL NEW STAINLESS CLEATS , STAINLESS POP UP NAV LIGHT PKG.

10) WIRE NAV LIGHTS STERN LIGHT AND RULE 800 GPH BILGE PUMP WITH FLOAT SWITCH.

11) INSTALL NEW GARMIN MAP 943XVS ( PLOTTER AND SONAR ) . WITH UPGRADED 500W ( GT 56U HD ) TRANSDUCER TO INCLUDE CLEAR VU , HIGH AND WIDE CHIRP AND SEA TEMP.

12) GUNNEL CAPS WERE REPAIRED AND CUSTOMIZED BY NARROWING AS THEY RUN AFT . 

13) HULL WAS THEN SANDED AND PREPPED AND PAINTED IN KINGSTON GRAY AWLGRIP . 

CAPS WERE SHOT IN A 2 TONE OF KINGSTON GRAY AWLGRIP AND WHITE NON SKID . DECK ALSO DONE IN SPLASH NON SKID.

14) A BRAND NEW SUZUKI 140 HP 4 STROKE ( WARR TIL MAY OF 2027 I BELIEVE ) WAS MOUNTED AND RIGGED . THE OPTIONAL NEMA 2 PACKAGE WAS ALSO ADDED TO ALLOW SUZUKI AND GARMIN TO COMMUNICATE . MOTOR CURRENTLY HAS 17 HOURS AND FIRST/ BREAK IN SERVICE JUST COMPLETED BY SUZUKI TECH.
