"Laura Jack" is a 1979 Pearson 365 sloop, actively cruised and lovingly refitted in the last two years and ready to go now! The owners moved up but still love this boat.
Well-equipped with roller furling sails, AIS, Epirb, radar, and solar, she has a shallow 4 1/2 foot draft and carries 150 gallons of water -- so is ideal for the Intracoastal Waterway, Florida, the Bahamas, (where she spent last winter,) and the Caribbean.
She has a new 125% cruising Genoa from Bacon Sails on a new ProFurl NC42 Furler with a new 3/8" forestay. The in-mast Hood roller fuller main has a new gearbox and works reliably. Rigging is heavy-duty to match the Hood mast. Bridge clearance is 49'.
This is a reliable and economical boat, easily single-handed, and capable of handling all the weather conditions you'll encounter while cruising.
