This 1985 Pearson 36-2 is new to the market and has sailed freshwater since 2011. This vessel has been well maintained and looks and shows very well. It is powered by Yanmar 3HM35F (34 hp) w approx. 268 Hrs since it's rebuild in 2016.
This 1985 Pearson 36-2 has a great layout with accommodations to be enjoyed while away from the dock, and is ready to sail.
The cockpit has a lot of room for captain and crew with bench seating. The Edison wheel has a compass, autopilot (with below deck drive), depth, speed, wind displays and a Garmin GPS Map integrated.
Below decks, you'll find a very friendly and well laid out floor plan, with teak and LED lighting throughout.
To the right of the steps leading below is the galley that features a double stainless-steel sink, a cold plate frig/freezer, a gimble mounted stove/oven combination, and storage cabinets and drawers.
To the left of the entry steps is the Nav Station. The station holds the VHF, Nav station light, the electric panel, Bluetooth stereo with speakers in the cockpit, digital voltage and amperage battery meters and a 12vdc to 120vac power inverter.
The V-berth has a solid door for privacy, hanging locker starboard, cabinet storage to port, opening portholes, lighting, 110-volt outlet, 12-volt DC outlet and a fan.
The Nav Station tabletop opens to reveal additional storage. There is also additional cabinet and drawer storage associated with the Nav Station.
To port, aft is the enclosed head. A manual flush toilet, sink with wand faucet that can be used to create a shower, medicine cabinet and cabinet storage can be found in the enclosed head.
An aft double berth is in a stateroom to starboard with a solid door for privacy, and a hanging locker. Two portholes can be opened to allow fresh air in also allows natural light.
A sofa with overhead cabinet storage and drawer storage next to it is located forward of the Nav Station starboard.
A large U-shaped lounge with a table that can be converted to a double berth is located opposite the sofa. There is also overhead storage and storage in the lounge seat base.
This boat includes a custom canvas boat cover for storage.
Nice example of one of Pearsons best designs. This is a very roomy, great sailing boat with two private staterooms, big head compartment and ample space for dining. Very nice galley and sit-down chart table along with a real comfortable cockpit with a large lazarette for storage and a folding teak table that can accommodate the whole family.
