The M/V Endeavour is a highly maneuverable and agile power catamaran allowing its owner to complete the American Great Loop single handed.  The deck equipment and controls are easily and quickly accessible.  Her 2 foot 3 inch draft and 13 foot bridge clearance makes her an ideal choice for the loop or off the beaten path cruising.  Her props are located higher than her keel so she can be beached.  The fly-bridge provides excellent sight lines and access to the propulsion, steering, and navigation controls.

Entering through the glass sliding door aft, you step down into the spacious Salon including the lower helm station with captain seat to starboard and lounge seating to port. Moving forward, the salon dining area features a large U-shape lounge and table that converts into a double berth for quests, is offset to starboard just slightly to gain additional room in the port side Galley. This was a design change upgrade for the late 2006 PDQ models. The fully outfitted Galley is down and midship in the port side hull along with the guest state room aft. To starboard the head and shower are down midship and the owner stateroom aft. Throughout Endeavour teak and holly flooring makes for a great nautical, homey feel. Storage is also plenty-full with many cabinets and under floor dry storage for your items.

Top side includes an enormous flybridge area with an upper helm station, numerous storage lockers.

The deck provides wide safe walk

The Biggest Pros and Cons

The 2006 PDQ PowerCat 34' is a versatile power catamaran known for its blend of performance, comfort, and efficiency. Here are some of the key pros and cons to consider:

Pros

Spacious Layout: The wide beam and catamaran design provide ample living and deck space, making it comfortable for extended cruising or entertaining guests.

Fuel Efficiency: Twin diesel engines combined with a lightweight hull design contribute to excellent fuel economy compared to monohull powerboats of similar size.

Shallow Draft: Its shallow draft allows access to shallow bays and coastal areas that deeper keel boats cannot reach.

Stable Ride: The catamaran hull offers superior stability, resulting in a smooth and comfortable ride even in choppy conditions.

Quality Construction: Built with high-quality fiberglass and attention to detail, the PDQ PowerCat 34' is known for durability and longevity.

Good Performance: It offers respectable cruising speeds while maintaining efficiency, making it suitable for both day trips and longer passages.

Cons

Limited High-Speed Performance: While efficient and stable, it is not designed for high-speed cruising, so it may not satisfy those seeking faster powerboats.

Initial Cost: The quality build and specialized design can result in a higher purchase price compared to some other powercatamarans or monohull boats in the same size range.

Maintenance Complexity: Twin engines and catamaran systems can mean more maintenance tasks and higher upkeep costs compared to simpler monohulls.

Storage Space: Although spacious, the layout prioritizes living comfort, which may limit dedicated storage areas for larger gear or equipment.

Docking Challenges: The wide beam can require special docking considerations and may incur higher marina fees due to the larger slip size needed.
