38' Panda '83 "Orion"

Designed by Gary Grant of Robert Perry's design office, developed by Bob Berg, and built by Ta Shing, the Panda 38 offers sea-kindly motion, a flexible sailplan, and an exceptionally beautiful teak interior. At 10,000 lbs lighter than her bigger sister, the Panda 40, she has a transom stern, a cut-away forefoot keel and a cockpit suitably sized for offshore cruising. Below decks, her teak joinery is impressive and the use of space is aesthetically very pleasing. Hull #4 of only 29 reportedly built, Orion is a rare find.
