Califia is a 1991 Ocean Alexander 42 with twin Caterpillar 3208TA diesel engines. Large salon with two staterooms, head, galley, and large enclosed bridge. New bottom paint 2017.
New flooring (2018) in large cockpit. Updated canvas awning over cockpit. Canvas cover (3 panels) to protect the wood and glass doors and windows. Settee has new 2018 cushions with sil-leather (silicon based material for easy cleaning). Storage under cushions. High-low table adjustable for dining. Console has stereo (with bluetooth), icemaker, TV, DVD player and storage where old TV went. Galley has double sink, electric stove and oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Plenty of storage, including under the window. No wasted space. Two staterooms and head on lower level. The guest room has two bunks, a dresser, storage under bunks and a hanging locker. Bunk beds are convertible to one large bed. The master stateroom has a queen bed and vanity. There is additional storage under the bed and a hanging locker. Head has a full separate shower with sink and vacuum flush toilet. Bridge has three pedestal chairs, two bench seats with storage and a removable table. New electronic engine controls and GPS/fathometer (2017). Ranier glass on the forward part of the enclosure allows exceptionally clear view. Eisenglass on the remaining enclosure with windows opened by rolling or folded up as shown. Soft hatch of canvas allows access to radar arch. AB Dinghy with jockey seat and 20hp Yamaha engine. Stainless dinghy cradle added to the foredeck. Davit on bow for launching. Easy access to bow via wide side decks with railing. Hinged anchor plank for fitting into a 40' slip.
