CHICKENFOOT is a well-sorted 42 Super Sport that has been maintained as a serious fishing platform without giving up the comfort of a two-stateroom, two head & two stall shower convertible. Twin Caterpillar C9 diesels rated at 510hp each show roughly 2,200 hours per side and deliver an 18-knot cruise with a 22-knot top end on 430 gallons of fuel.
The cockpit is set up to fish: 45-gallon transom bait tank, two in-deck macerated fish boxes, bait prep station with sink, two tackle storage compartments, outriggers, Pompanette rocket launcher, and fresh and saltwater washdowns. The flybridge carries a Garmin package with GPSmap 7212, 10" touchscreen, open array radar, GHC10 autopilot, and GMI10 display, alongside Hynautic controls with sync and troll, twin Cat digital displays new in 2025, and a top-loading freezer.
Belowdecks the salon seats a crowd around an L-shaped settee and teak dinette, with two SubZero fridge/freezer units, and CruisAir reverse cycle heat and air throughout. Both heads are full heads with VacuFlush systems and teak and holly soles.
Recent work includes new AGM batteries and charger in 3/2026, refrigerator rebuilt and air conditioning serviced in 2026, new VacuFlush head pumps, a Northern Lights 9kW genset new in 2020, and a new flybridge enclosure.
