*** Clear Florida titles for the primary vessel and dinghy. ***

"Windchime" is a beautifully maintained and extensively upgraded 1984 O'Day 34 that is ready to go cruising today. This is not simply an older sailboat with a long equipment list - she is a proven liveaboard and Bahamas cruiser, having just completed two seasons exploring the Bahamas with her current owners.

Since 2017, the owners have made significant investments in upgrades, equipment and improvements, creating an exceptionally well-equipped cruising platform for her size. She has the systems and equipment many buyers spend years adding to a cruising boat: lithium house batteries, substantial solar, diesel inboard generator, watermaker, inverter, upgraded charging infrastructure, autopilot, radar, chartplotter, Starlink, EPIRB, newer sails, davits, dinghy and outboard, air conditioning, refrigeration, and extensive spares.

For a sailor looking for a 34-foot boat that can leave the dock and begin cruising, "Windchime" deserves a close look.

A PROVEN BAHAMAS CRUISER

The current owners have spent two seasons cruising the Bahamas aboard Windchime, giving her real-world cruising credentials rather than simply being equipped for a hypothetical future voyage.

Her shoal 4'5" draft is particularly well suited to exploring the Bahamas and other shallow-water cruising grounds, while the O'Day 34's moderate-displacement hull, fin keel and spade rudder provide a practical combination of sailing performance, stability and maneuverability.

The boat is equipped for extended periods away from the dock, with solar power, lithium house batteries, diesel generator, watermaker, substantial refrigeration, hot water, air conditioning, communications and navigation equipment.

Engine hours and estimated total hours should be independently verified by the buyer during survey and inspection.

• 2023 Mack Sails 150% jib
• Sails remain in excellent, crisp condition
• Barlow two-speed self-tailing winches

The O'Day 34 is a masthead sloop designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates / John Deknatel, with a 34' LOA, 11'3" beam and shoal-keel configuration available specifically for reduced draft. Factory specifications call for approximately 524 sq. ft. of sail area and 11,500 lbs. of displacement.

The O'Day 34's factory documentation specifies approximately 6'2" of interior headroom and six berths, making the boat surprisingly accommodating for a 34-foot cruiser.

DINGHY & OUTBOARD

Included with "Windchime" is a complete dinghy package:

• 2005 8' Caribe inflatable dinghy
• 2006 Yamaha 8HP 2-stroke outboard
• Custom dinghy davits and solar arch

This makes the boat particularly well suited for cruising destinations where a tender is essential for getting ashore, exploring shallow water and moving between boat and beach.

STORAGE/ SPARES

One of the more significant advantages of "Windchime" is the amount of equipment and spare parts being passed along with the boat. The current owners have outfitted her for actual cruising rather than occasional weekend use, and lots of spares are included.

WHY WINDCHIME?

Windchime offers something increasingly difficult to find in this size range: a classic, proven cruising sailboat that has already been outfitted for the lifestyle rather than simply marketed as a project with potential.

The current owners have done the expensive work and, more importantly, have used the boat extensively in the Bahamas. The result is a capable 34-foot cruiser with shallow draft, modern electrical and navigation systems, independent power generation, watermaking capability, newer sails, a tender, and the equipment needed for extended time away from the dock.

She is ideally suited for a couple or small family looking for a Bahamas cruiser, Florida/Keys cruiser, liveaboard or affordable offshore-capable sailing platform.

With an estimated $80,000 invested in upgrades since 2017, brand-new 2026 lithium and starting batteries, 2023 Mack sails, and two recent seasons of Bahamas cruising under her keel, "Windchime" is ready for her next adventure at an unparalleled value.

Specifications, equipment, capacities, hours and condition should be verified by the buyer and/or buyer's surveyor. Some equipment is owner-installed and may differ from original factory specifications.
