The Newport 31 designed by Gary Mull is a thoughtfully designed racer /cruiser with an ingenious layout.
The design takes advantage of an ample beam to create stability, very livable accommodations below, as well as a comfortable cockpit and ample deck space. Aloha proves to be a capable singlehander with all halyards and sheets leading directly to the cockpit. A Universal diesel provides good maneuverablity as well as dependable power.
"Aloha" stands out among the Newport 31's. She is extremely clean and well maintained, has newer sails, full canvas enclosure, upholstery in excellent condition, Wallas diesel heat and much more.
There was a very limited production of the Newport 31 and this particular vessel has the deep draft fin keel, making her an ideal Pacific Northwest cruiser.
