The general design of the N5300 Classic's interior is open, bright and comfortable.  It really all starts on the aft deck which is quite spacious and easy to access either from the large swim deck transom door or the dual stainless steel & glass sliding salon doors.  The aft deck opens up to the salon which is a bright and well designed space with large a starboard side sofa and a u-shaped galley, then up just a couple of steps from the salon is the pilothouse, now this is where the "Great Room" effect comes into play.... From the pilothouse helm seat you can see all the way through the main salon, aft deck to the swim platform, a truly phenomenal feature for a captain that likes to operate the yacht from pilothouse helm station. The pilothouse features a centered helm station, a captain chair and a large port side cruising settee, access stairs to the flybridge and a door to the starboard side deck making it easy to access the foredeck.

Below the main deck are three suites and staterooms and two heads.  A nice feature is the midships owners suite that offers a queen island bed, head with stall shower and separate washer and dryer.  There is also a VIP suite, guest stateroom and guest head with a stall shower.

The Nav 5300 engine room and mechanical spaces are easy to access and offer excellent room to service both the main diesel engines and equipment housed in the space.  Access is via a large cockpit deck hatch and also through the galley floor hatch that leads you into the yachts dry-goods storage area and this space offers a door into the engine room.

The propulsion power is provided by a pair of Volvo TAMD 63P-A 370HP diesels wiht approximately 650 hours, the engines are coupled to ZF 301A transmissions.  Both the engines and transmission were recently serviced in Feb & April 2025.  Note: General vessel service records go back to January 2005.

The Nav 5300 offers two helm stations both equipped with Garmin navigational equipment.  The pilothouse helm features a center helm staion with flexsteel helm chair and a large cruising settee and the flybridge helm a port-centered station with a double width helm seat, a starboard side admirals helm seat a d dual L-shaped cruising settees.

The pilothouse is a bright open space like the main salon, with large windows, open bulkhead design between the salon and pilothouse offering the helmsperson 360 degree visibility while operating the yacht.  It is also easy to get to the foredeck from the pilothouse thanks to the starboard side sliding door and to the flybridge with built-in stairs.
