Whether your plans include the Great Loop, the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, or simply weekends on the water, Odyssey has been thoughtfully transformed into a modern cruising yacht. Rather than just maintaining original equipment, her owner invested over $95,000 in premium systems that improve reliability, comfort, ease of operation, and long-term ownership value.
Odyssey is exceptionally well-equipped for extended time on the hook. At the heart of the boat is a thoughtfully designed Victron electrical system, featuring a 980Ah LiFe lithium battery bank, Victron inverter/charger, DC-to-DC charging, and intelligent battery management. This setup allows you to operate all the boat's essential systems, including refrigeration, freezers, and air conditioning for both the master and VIP staterooms, without running the generator. When it's time to recharge, the 13kW Kohler generator only needs to run for a few hours each day to replenish the LiFe battery system fully.
Odyssey has also benefited from extensive recent mechanical investment, new turbochargers and exhaust elbows, a rebuilt fuel system, fresh engine and generator service, a new bow thruster and windlass, Dockmate wireless docking which means you can dock this boat with one hand, and much more. Full details appear in the Engines & Mechanical section below.
Many yachts of this year still rely on aging electrical systems, dated electronics, original air conditioning, and lead-acid batteries. ODYSSEY does not. She has been upgraded where owners benefit most. The result is a yacht that retains the proven hull, spacious three-stateroom layout, and dependable twin Volvo Penta power that made the Navigator 53 a respected cruising platform, with the benefit of all modern comforts.
