Feb 2018 - 41 ft Morgan 415 Out Islander Ketch, Hull #100 - Heading for the Bahamas? Want to explore the islands? This is your boat! Every serious sailor knows the capabilities of the superbly-designed Morgan 415 Out Island, for her ease of handling, rugged stability, smooth passage making, and excellent, very comfortable aft-cabin design and layout.
Charlie Morgan built these OIs for the Bahamian sail charter trade. Hence, the Morgan Out Islands are comfortable, roomy, easy-to-sail, and very forgiving in handling by the 'inexperienced'. OutIslanders have a shoal draft (4.5 ft) to navigate the shallow banks and bays of the "Baha Mer", - Bahamas (Shallow Sea). The Out Islander motors as fast as she sails (6-7 kts). EOS plows well into the trade winds. Leaving Key Largos, Angelfish Creek in the morning, EOS can be tied up at the docks in Bimini, Bahamas in time to clear in, by 4:30 PM. She's also very familiar with the Berrys, the Abacos, and the Exumas.
EOS is especially well equipped, and essentially a turn-key cruiser. She's Hull #100, and for the past dozen years, has been actively cruising the Keys and Bahamas, down to the Dry Tortugas. With every conceivable necessity, in addition to numerous specialty modifications successfully incorporated by her highly experienced scientist-owner, EOS will take you where you need to go in safety, comfort and style! Her machinery is bright and clean, her sail inventory is complete, and she's ready to splash immediately.
Come to Marathon and witness for yourself what EOS (Greek Goddess of the Dawn), has to offer you!
