From first glance this Monterey 282 Cruiser has plenty of eye appeal, it's sweeping lines, forward arch and clean profile gives this boat a modern look. Step onboard and the 10' beam is noticeable, the cockpit area is very open with plenty of seating for friends and family. A removable cockpit table is great for entertaining and the cockpit wet bar to the port side is compact yet adds nice easy access storage, sink, cup holders and cockpit counter space. A cockpit TV is mounted to the STBT side for extra entertainment and can be removed when not in use. The Captain should be comfortable in the over sized double wide helm seat that does have a flip up bolster, the new shifters are beautiful and make driving the boat effortless. The helm is clean and simple, with easy to read gauges and the RPM gauges are new in 2025, a depth finder is to the left side of the dash and your trim tab controls and a cup holder is to the left side of the dash. The walk through windshield has large steps for easy access and the bow is nice and flat with a bow cushion.
Step into the cabin and let luxury surround you, the fit, finish and attention to detail inside this Monterey 282 should impress anyone looking for a budget friendly Cruiser. The forward berth can be extended by simply folding down the back rest for the dinette, the dinette is large and very attractive. The galley is to the PORT side and features a 2 burner electric cook-top, microwave, SS Sink, 110-12 volt refrigerator and plenty of storage. One noteworthy area in the cabin is the Mid Cabin, the easy access and extremely open design is impressive, with this area either being a U Shape seating arrangement or converting into a large second berth. Step into the head and you will notice it is all fiberglass lined, with a fiberglass cover over the Vacu Flush head making this a comfortable area to use as a shower.
