SHOAL DRAFT STABILITY, SIMPLICITY, SPEED, AND SAFETY.
The Presto 30 is a unique, innovative vessel that is capable of making safe open water passages with a ballasted hull, weighted centerboard, and easy to handle twin unstayed wishbone rigs, but has the incredible capability to float in only 16" (yes, only 1 Foot 4 Inches) of water!
She boasts a spacious cockpit protected from the sun by a bimini and with cushions to comfortably seat 6+ people.
The cabin features an enclosed heat, one large 6'6" double bed and two single berths, a galley with sink, stove, and icebox and a pop-top allowing for 6' indoor headroom at anchor.
She is effortlessly easy to maintain with a single Yamaha 9.9hp four stroke outboard motor, and a legally trailerable width (trailer not included) of 8'6" , along with a gin pole allowing easy owner unstepping of rigs.
All of this adds up to a fun, easy to sail package that is low maintenance, very fast yet rewarding to sail, and capable of exploring many areas (The bays of Cape cod, Barnegat Bay, Florida Keys, or even Bahamas anyone?) that are simply too shallow for nearly all other vessels.
