Built in the highly regarded Mayflower yard in Taiwan, Sun Dazzler shows the craftsmanship and intention of high level boat builders. Her design combines those traits most preferred by skippers going offshore.
The spacious center cockpit gives a commanding view and a sense of ease and control to the pilot. The extended fin keel (or cutaway) and skeg combine maneuverability, tracking, and protection for the rudder. The large center cockpit makes for easy boat management, with all engine monitoring mounted right on the helm pedestal. A full enclosure makes for comfort in all seasons.
She carries 150 gallons of fuel for the Perkins 85 h.p. engine (2588 hrs.) Freshwater capacity is 200 gallons but essentially unlimited due to the 9gph water maker, which makes rinsing, washing, and showering a daily luxury.
400' of 3/8" anchor chain was new in 2010.
