While the chief attraction of the Mainship 31 Sedan Bridge may have been her attractive styling, when you step below decks, you'll immediately be impressed with her spacious interior...having the feel and flow of a much larger boat! Like all sedan-style cruisers, the sunken floorplan is made possible by locating the engines aft, beneath the cockpit instead of cramming them under the sole of the main salon. Not only does it increase interior space, but it keeps all "business" work on the exterior of the boat...not in our living room! This results in a wide-open interior arranged more or less on a single level from the salon forward. This layout offers two staterooms...another uncommon feature for a 31' boat of his design. The galley is opposite the dinette in the main salon, and a double-entry head offers private access form the forward-most (and largest) stateroom. Topside, molded steps lead up the flybridge with ample seating and center-line helm. Her large almost full-beam salon created rather narrow sidedecks. So Mainship created a center-line walkthrough in the bridge coaming...walk straight from the bridge to the foredeck! A nice feature to have when you are single-handling coming into the docks. The cockpit offers a transom door and the entire cockpit sole lifts up for easy engine access. Her twin 340hp MarinePower engines will keep her cruising at a comfortable 20 knots...she'll top out at about 30 knots!
- Twin 340 HP FWC Marine Power Engines
- Reverse Cycle Heat/AC
- Generator
