SELLERS COMMENTS:
I fell in love with the Mainship Pilot 30 Rumrunner in the late 1990s at the Annapolis powerboat show with my father. I'm still in love with it in every way. She handles like a dream and with the bow thruster, making a docking a breeze in breezy conditions. Her fast-cruise in the mid to upper teens is quite economical due to the deltaconic hull design. But, with our daughter moved out and slowly working towards her Masters, it's time for a change. We just aren't using her much.
Recent upgrades:
2024: Added dedicated battery for bow thruster, replaced house batteries, added battery bank isolator, replaced engine hatch sound insulation, added high end stereo (to be able to hear above engine at cruise) consisting of: Fusion head unit that is integrated with the Chart plotter, six Fusion 6.5" speakers, two 8" Bazooka tube marine subwoofers, and a 8 channel Fusion amplifier. All work done professionally, to ABYC standards. Bottom job, replace zincs, compound and wax hull & topsides
2025: Rebuilt original starter, rebuilt original alternator, changed fuel filters, buff & wax hull & topsides

Cons
Limited Speed: While it is fuel-efficient, the top speed is generally lower than that of sportier vessels. This may not satisfy those looking for quicker trips or fast-paced cruising.
Space Constraints: Though spacious for a 30-foot craft, the living areas may become cramped compared to larger boats, especially during longer trips or with more passengers on board.
Older Model: As a 2001 model, potential buyers should be mindful of the age of the boat. This can affect maintenance needs, potential upgrades, and overall durability.
