Meet the 2027 Lund Jon 1240 in Dead Grass Green-a small-but-mighty utility boat that looks right at home slipping through quiet coves, hugging the shoreline, or easing into your favorite tucked-away fishing spot. That earthy green finish blends in naturally with reeds and timber, giving this jon boat a classic, low-key vibe that's all business on the water.

At 11.7 feet (3.6 m) long with a 56-inch (1.4 m) beam, it's sized for the kind of adventures that don't need a crowd-just you, a buddy, and a good plan. With room for 2 passengers, it keeps things simple and focused, whether you're running a few traps, scouting a new pond, or enjoying an early-morning cruise before the world wakes up.

Built from aluminum, the Lund Jon 1240 is made to be practical and hardworking, with a light dry weight of 130 lbs (59 kg) that helps keep handling straightforward at the ramp and on the water. It also offers a solid weight capacity of 535 lbs (242.7 kg), so you've got room for the essentials without overthinking it.

An open-top layout keeps the experience refreshingly uncomplicated-just open air, open water, and the freedom to move around. The bench seating fits the boat's no-nonsense personality, giving you a comfortable perch while you drift, motor, or idle along. And with a 15-inch (381 mm) transom height and up to 10 hp (7.5 kW) max recommended horsepower, it's ready for calm-water duty where efficient, easy-going power is exactly the point.

If you're looking for a compact jon/utility boat with a rugged aluminum build and a down-to-earth Dead Grass Green style, the Lund Jon 1240 is an easy choice for simple days done right.
