2027 Lund Jon 1040 Boat in Milledgeville, GA 31061 US

Meet the 2027 Lund Jon 1040, a no-nonsense little aluminum companion that's all about simple fun and easy getaways. Finished in Dead Grass Green, it blends right into the reeds and shoreline like it was made for sneaking away to quiet coves and early-morning fishing holes-without making a big production out of it.

At 10 feet long with a 56-inch beam, this jon/utility setup keeps things compact enough to handle with confidence, yet steady enough to feel comfortable once you're on the water. The open-top design keeps everything refreshingly straightforward: just you, the sky, and the kind of day that doesn't need a schedule. A bench seat gives you classic, practical seating-perfect for leaning back on the way out and leaning forward when it's time to focus.

Because it's built from aluminum and weighs in at just 110 lbs dry, it's the kind of boat that's easy to live with. Whether you're sliding it into the water for a quick evening lap or setting out for a slow, exploratory cruise, it's designed for uncomplicated use and easy handling. The 15-inch transom height pairs well with a modest motor setup, with a max recommended 5 horsepower-just enough push for relaxed runs and calm-water wandering.

Bring a friend along: it's rated for 2 passengers, with a weight capacity of 419 lbs. That means room for two people and the essentials for a solid day outside-without turning your trip into a gear-hauling contest.

If your idea of a great day is quiet water, light packing, and the freedom to go wherever the shoreline looks inviting, the Lund Jon 1040-especially in that low-key Dead Grass Green-fits the vibe perfectly.
