The boat was built in Bordeaux, France, which is why she carries her signature red color. Her name, Grand Cru, is inspired by the renowned French wine, reflecting both quality and heritage. The phrase on the sail bag, In Vino Veritas, means "When wine comes in, the truth comes out"
