Kong & Halvorsen Island Gypsy 51 is a heavy-duty, seaworthy,
semi-displacement motor yacht with distinctive trawler lines, wide walk-around
side decks, pilothouse, flybridge, wide beam and Naiad stabilizers for comfort,
excellent stability and copious storage that must be seen to be appreciated for
extended cruising or liveaboard capability! This boat features a three-stateroom,
three-head layout, a spacious master stateroom with centerline queen berth and
two more guest staterooms, suitable for families and sleeping 8-10. You'll find a
large salon, recliners, 55" TV, Bose sound system, WiFi/Starlink, an open galley
with updated appliances, large windows creating a bright spacious living area.
There is a separate walk-in engine room for dual Volvo TAMD-60B twin diesels
with 1330 gal. fuel providing extended range, as well as, an Olympic boiler for
hydronic heating, air conditioning, Naiad stabilizers and two Onan generators, 8
kW and 13 kW. An added hardtop enclosure over the flybridge creates another
room for family/friends to congregate with the captain with 360 degree panoramic
views and full electronics for comfortable cruising.
This boat has undergone numerous modifications, continuous upgrades and
regular maintenance by current owners who have owned this vessel with loving
care for the past 25 years. Held in a tax paid LLC
