Let's take a tour of "TSUNAMI"!
When approaching the boat, you immediately sense a well-maintained boat. The fiberglass is bright and shiny, with few imperfections in the hull and superstructure. Entering from the aft, you see a solid swim step with a stable, davited 10' Sorensen dinghy with a 20 hp Tohatsu 4 stroke engine. The davit system makes launching and retrieving simple and easy. The dinghy is perfect for taking evening cruises around the bay and yet stable and practical for crabbing, etc. The aft cockpit also has a freshwater hot/cold spigot for rinsing off after swimming or washing down muddy pets. In the lazarette you'll find a Northern Lights 5 KW generator.
The aft cockpit offers easy access to cleats for running lines and to the swim step for water entertainment. Up the ladder is the sun/lido deck, offering spacious room for entertaining. There is a large Dometic chest Freezer/Refrigerator, perfect for frozen foods/fish or it can act as an addition refrigerator.
Further up, the bridge offers the captain a 360 degree view of the water, with straight line views of the port and starboard stern edges, as well as a panoramic view of the bow and beyond. The offers a comfortable bench seating area for entertaining guests and family, along with stylish and comfortable captains chairs. The console is well-laid out, with instrumentation and buttons within easy reach without having to take your eyes off the water.
The side decks are spacious, allowing safe handling of fenders and runninng lines. On the bow, there is a powerful Lewmar windlass pulling 250' of 5/16" chain and rode and a 30kg/66 lb Bruce plow anchor. A spigot allows for washdown of the chain and anchor as it comes up
Stepping down the access ladder from the sun deck, you enter the main cabin, which sports a comfortable wraparound couch and three side chairs. The television is situated to afford maximum viewing ability from the couch and the galley. The cabin windows are adorned with curtains of a nautical flair to provide privacy when in a moorage. There is a large staging/serving counter that is perfect for food prep, serving and cocktails.
Stepping down into the galley, you see a two-person area for cooking and food prep. The galley is outfitted with a Force Ten 3 burner stove, A large General Electric combo microwave, a stainless steel double sink, and a large Vitrifrigo refrigerator/ freezer.
Up forward, is a spacious guest stateroom that shares a forward head with the galley. The stateroom has a full-sized bunk on the port side and plenty of locker and drawer space on the starboard side. Hydronic heat is provided to this area. The head sports a walk-in shower, good counter space, and a vacuflush head.
Heading aft, you step into a large stateroom with a queen-sized bunk, extensive locker and drawer space. Electric heat and diesel outlets keep the stateroom warm and cozy on the cool Northwest days and nights. A depth monitor and bilge monitor are available and readable from the bunk. Sconces provide reading light on each side of the bunk. There is a nice dressing area with plenty of counter space. The aft head is attached directly to the stateroom, providing privacy for the occupants. It has a walk-in shower and a vacuflush head, with plenty of counter space around the sink.
Accessing the engine room, you can see how this boat is rigged for cruising. The mains are 370 hp Cummins with only 2400 hours on them. These were installed in 2015 as used engines and have documentation on the hours. They have been maintained by one of the top engine guys in the area. There is a 40 gph water maker, a must for cruising up north. On the port side is the 10-gallon Torrid hot water tank. The battery bank sports eight 6 Volt golf cart batteries, new in 2024, providing 900 amp hours, ample power when on hook. The engines are started separately with an 8D battery.
