Double doors from the aft deck provide easy access to the spacious saloon, with comfortable accommodations and natural light throughout. Windows feature teak valances, custom fit wooden blinds, and owner has added thermal foil window covers that are easily removed and stowed.
To Port, an L-shaped sofa with storage and an entertainment cabinet with bottle storage beneath. Flat screen TV, A/V equipment, and Bose surround sound are found in this cabinet as well.
To Starboard, an L shaped dinette with storage below and oversized teak table with folding leaves forward for forward and aft expansion.
Engine room is accessible through dual oversized deck hatches in the saloon.
The Galley is located forward of the dinette on the starboard side. Appliances include 11cu ft GE Fridge/Freezer combo with teak door panels, 3-burner propane stove with oven, and convection microwave. Solid surface Corian countertops (Sahara color) and beautiful teak cabinetry throughout, with custom under-cabinet stemware rack.
The Port side guest cabin features a large L-shaped seating area aft that's convertible to a double berth. A second overhead bunk folds down from the aft bulkhead and is secured when not in use with dual barrel latches. A built in desk forward with bookshelf and drawer storage allows for an office or study accommodation when not being used as a guest stateroom.
Forward of the galley to Starboard is the Washer / Dryer locker and access to guest head. Features include Vacuflush head, dedicated shower stall, corian top vanity, bulkhead locker, opening port, and ceramic tile floor.
Forward of the guest head on the Starboard side, the starboard guest stateroom is a similar but more compact version of the Port Guest Stateroom, with a sofa/bunk aft with folding upper bunk, and a small desk to starboard. The stateroom features hanging locker and desk drawer storage, along with an opening portlight.
The Master stateroom is forward, and features a centerline queen berth, en suite head, dual oversized lighted hanging lockers to Port and Starboard, dual opening hatches, and drawer storage. There is access to a huge bilge storage and mechanical access compartment through a deck hatch aft of the berth.
En suite master head features Vacuflush head, spacious shower stall, locker and vanity storage, opening port, and corian countertops.

A companionway staircase offers access to the spacious pilothouse, with a comfortable Ultraleather Stidd chair at the centerline helm. The pilothouse functions as both a capable command center for the captain, and a comfortable entertaining or lounging space for guests. The L-shaped sofa also converts with a high-low table to another sleeping area. Dutch doors port and starboard provide access to side decks, and there is a wetbar with ice maker to port.
Clean and organized mechanical spaces are a highlight of the 48 Whaleback in general, and especially this particular boat. Everything is well lit, well labeled, and well designed for ease of access to maintenance and systems.
Main engine room access is through the salon deck hatches, with all-around engine access, generator, fuel tanks, water heater, and sea strainers in the same space.
Center mechanical access under the companionway steps is enormous, and offers easy and well lit access to stabilizers, fuel system, air conditioning system. There is also an auxiliary freezer midship.
The compartment in the master stateroom is a spacious storage area, with access to bow thruster and some plumbing.
