PUFFIN - a beautifully preserved 1985 John Williams Stanley 36 lobster‑yacht - blends classic New England styling with modern reliability. PUFFIN offers a traditionally styled open boat concept in true Lobster Yacht form and function. Built on Mt. Desert Island to Lyford Stanley lines, PUFFIN features a varnished wood interior and traditional hard‑top pilothouse, roomy cockpit with teak swim platform, and comfortable accommodations for weekend cruising or days on the water.
Currently hauled and shrinkwrapped with a door for ease of access. New photos will be provided once vessel is commissioned.
PUFFIN offers a traditionally styled open boat concept in true Lobster Yacht form and function. A V berth with filler offers sleeping accommodations for two while two additional pipe berths above allow for two additional single berths. There is a dining table on centerline, mirrored settees to port and starboard for seating at the table, galley to port and enclosed head to starboard. The fit and finish is true to form from the custom yard of John Williams and offered in true yacht finish.
On deck living offers a traditional hard top for the pilot house with open sides sometimes protected by optional Isinglass. Custom helm and navigators pedestal seating, settee to port and full width bench seating across the transom offer great operation or lounging spaces.
There is a deep, flush mounted, insulated cooler box aft of the bench seat offering easy access to ice cold drinks from cockpit or swim platform. A generously proportioned teak grate swim platform with folding stainless steel ladder offers easy access to the water.
The varnished signal mast, handrails and comings offer a beautiful touch to tradition without being over the top on maintenance.
