This 2002 Hinckley Picnic Boat EP 36 is currently located in Boston, MA and enrolled in the Barton & Gray Mariners Club service and charter program. She is readily available for show and sea trial.
DECK AND HULL
CONSTRUCTION
Construction of the hull is Kevlar E-glass hybrid and balsa core, SCRIMPed with vinylester resin. Deck and cockpit are E-glass and balsa core, molded with polyester resin. The deck sole has a molded-in nonskid pattern. Marelon ball-valve seacocks with thru-hulls below water line and Marelon thru-hulls above waterline.

PILOTHOUSE / SALON
- Insulated white overhead has four (4) acrylic opening hatches with screens.
- Additional illumination is by rheostat controlled overhead low-voltage halogen lights.
- (4) Pilothouse windows include: (2) Sliding side windows and (2) Fixed forward with heavy duty, self-parking, intermittent windshield wipers and fresh water washers.
The pilothouse dash is finished in varnished teak. There is a teak locking companionway door. Two varnished teak handrails are under the aft ends of the pilothouse cabin top and a varnished teak handrail is on the aft end of the pilothouse.
- Ivory color drop curtains with windows provide a fully enclosed pilothouse.
- Ivory colored interior window sun covers for all four pilothouse windows.
Pompanette helm and passenger seats on painted pedestals that are height, as well as forward and aft, adjustable. They can swivel to face aft.
Port forward passenger area has a varnished teak integral handrail/cup holder on the forward bulkhead.

Next aft, the extended pilothouse roof shades additional seating with a L-shaped settee with varnished teak shelf rim to port that faces inboard and forward and has back and bottom cushions covered in custom Repetition-Licorice fabric.
- There is locker stowage beneath the settee.
- Varnished teak table with High/Low pedestal can be lowered to form a sheltered, comfortable "kid-sized" berth and the table top is hinged to fold to a smaller triangular table allowing use flexibility.
- Two opening hatches with screens are over the aft pilothouse area.
COCKPIT
More seating is available in the Picnic EP engine box that has an integrated propane two burner barbeque grill and a sink. An aft-facing cushioned seat is finished in pilothouse matching custom Repetition-Licorice fabric.
- The "Galley Up" wet bar includes a stainless steel sink with foldaway faucet and hot & cold pressure water, Force 10 LP BBQ grill, and a storage drawer. The entire engine box/wet bar and seat is hinged on the aft end and has electric air-assist lift for easy access to the engine.
Aft settee includes two hinged lids under the cushions to allow access to removable storage tubs with and to below deck pumps and batteries. There are molded-in port and starboard cup holders.
The cockpit coaming is varnished teak.

Teak cockpit sole has direct overboard drainage scuppers. There are numerous cockpit lockers with varnished teak doors, and storage bins.

- Full Ivory color cockpit cover that attaches to pilothouse with snaps around cockpit coaming
- Cockpit shower with mixing valve is located under starboard deck.
- Port & starboard fishing rod holders are located on the aft deck sides.
INTERIOR BELOW
The interior is finished in satin varnished cherry, including sheathing. The cabin sole is varnished teak & holly. There is an opening overhead hatch and four opening ports below (including head and galley) and all opening ports and hatches have removable screens. There are interior window sun covers for the pilothouse.

ACCOMODATIONS
Forward most is a V-BERTH with a filler to form a double berth.

- (2) Stereo speakers are mounted port and starboard on the forward bulkhead.
