This is a very rare and unique vessal, with some interesting history. It was built by John Deveaux in Nova Scotia. He was known for his very strong ocean going fishing boats (shrimpers, lobsters,Etc.) He also built 3 special order custom Trawlers, A 32'-36'-40' this is the 40. One of the previous owners kept it in a covered slip in clearwater, florida for 20 years. About 6 years ago it was hauled out and the bottom was professionally fiberglassed to the waterline. At the same time a new steel shoe was put in (simular to a railroad tie) to protect the bottom. In 2009 it was hauled out for new bottom paint, new zincs, etc. The single diesel engine runs great and is very economical. With TLC and loving care it can once again be the pride of the waterways.
