46 Jarvis Newman 1979 | SEPTEMBER
Price Reduction as of 4-22-26
September is a classic Down East yacht built by Jarvis Newman who was noted for building commercial fishing boats and classic yachts. These yachts do not become available very often and when they do, they don't last long on the market. September is a 2-stateroom yacht with 2 heads, a fully functional galley, a larger salon, and a fly bridge with plenty of room. There are two steering stations, both with fully functional helms. There is a large teak aft deck and, throughout the yacht, teak and holly flooring.
In 2000, the engines were replaced with Caterpillar 3196, which has just been rebuilt and now has only 60 hours. In 2023, extensive work and upgrades were done bringing the yacht to excellent condition. For the last 9 years, September has cruised up and down the east coast and to the Bahamas. The owner has finished his cruising and has decided to sell the yacht.
September may be boarded from the swim platform or from either side of the large and comfortable aft deck. Going forward, a door gives entry to the salon with sofa and dining table. The lower helm is on the starboard side. A few steps lead down to the functional galley and to the two staterooms that accommodate four guests. The flybridge is accessed from the aft deck and offers abundant seating, dinghy storage, and second helm station. The engine room is accessed from the salon and has multiple hatches in the teak and holly floor for service.
