The Islander 28 is a good looking racer/cruiser that delivers spirited performance.  Designed by Robert Perry in the mid 1970's, she is influenced by the IOR rule, popular at the time.

The down below layout is quite typical, with a V-berth forward, next aft is the head to starboard with a hanging locker opposite.  The main salon has port and starboard settees midships with outboard storage.  The galley is to port at the base of the companionway, and a quarter berth is to starboard.

Sail inventory consists of main, 120% and 150% jibs.

She is equipped with a Yanmar 2GM 15 hp engine.
