Unlike most catamarans, "Gratitude's" coach roof is not so high that the helmsman has to sit in an elevated seat. Everyone in the cockpit has a good view of where you are going and ventilation is great! There is an insulated built in cooler next to the helm seat so you don't have to go far for refreshment. The side decks are wide making it safe and easy to move around the entire boat. The foredeck does not have the typical trampoline, but has huge storage areas and a king size Sun pad which is great for sunning and watching fireworks or the stars at night. The cockpit and foredeck are large enough to entertain a large number of friends and family. Ample storage makes the boat suitable for cruising or live aboard. Accommodations are excellent for two couples, with two staterooms and two heads.
"Gratitude" is a great boat for the cruising couple, or family. She is quick, comfortable, and has many gathering spaces. The heads are spacious with easy-to-use electronic toilets. Hot water is a plus for showering and cleaning up after hearty meal. Creature comforts include cockpit cushions, forward deck lounger, and bow seat cushions. Interior settee cushions and queen mattresses are also on board.
She cruises comfortably at 2200 RPM giving a speed over ground of around 5 kts. Under sail speed varies according to the wind. We have sailed in 15 to 20 kts...Great fun!
Since obtaining Gratitude we have replaced the sails with Quantum sails, replaced the standing/running rigging, the electric winch to raise and lower the main sail, rebuilt the anchor windlass and both water tanks, thru hull valves and fixed propellers.
Amenities Include two suites with queen beds, two heads with stand up showers, full galley, hot water, Raymarine electronics, autopilot. radar, VHF radio, HVAC, and generator
Best of all, "Gratitude" is the only full-sized catamaran that will fit in most single slips.
Galley
The U-shaped galley is aft and to starboard with a lots of counter space, stainless steel sink, a 12 cubic foot top loading refrigerator, a two burner LPG stove with oven fueled by 2 10 lb aluminum propane tanks, with hot and cold pressurized water. There is an abundance of storage with cabinets over and under and a large pantry opposite the galley.
Accommodations
"Gratitude" has two identical cabins, one in each hull which contain queen size berths, drawers and enclosed shelf storage, and 2 hanging lockers and a small bench. The cabins are bright and airy, with one large hatch and two ports over the berth area and three ports and one hatch in the dressing area. Each head contains one hatch and a port in head and shower areas. Access to the engines is aft of the shower, with stand-up room and a locker that opens over head for air and light.
Just Completed in 6/12/2025, the entire boat has been compounded and waxed, including her interior has been cleaned and all carpeting has been removed and steam cleaned! Engines have seen recent oil changes and service. Diesel tank was flushed and filtered by a fuel tank cleaner service and has seen additives to prevent algae growth.
Her AC pumps have been replaced and systems serviced.
Lastly, she has had her bilge spaces cleaned and now we feel she is ready for her next adventure and YOU!
