The Island Packet 350 was introduced in 1997 and touted the most changes of any Packet to date. She featured a new flatter & beamier hull, a shorter bow sprit, Hoyt Staysail Boom, Athwartship Aft Berth, molded Swim Platform and other features detailed below. The 350 was also the first new IP model that had a Furling Mainsail as a factory option. They were manufactured from 1997 to 2003.
With all of the improvements it was a better performer that was easier to sail with a more comfortable interior.
Quaich was the last 350 built and is owned by an experienced IP sailor.
She is on the hard in Rock Hall, MD.
Starting at the bow is the private, forward cabin but redesigned with a starboard side Pullman Berth allowing space for more storage and a dressing seat across on port.
The Head follows aft on starboard with a door from the forward cabin giving the cabin a private Suite feel.
The Saloon is next aft with its own door to the head and a hanging locker across on port. A convertible "L" shaped settee/double berth is on starboard across from a straight settee. The dining table seats 7 and is bulkhead stored when not in use with storage built in behind. Very CLEVER!!

The "U" shaped Galley is next on Port with great preparation area, icebox, a double sink, 2-burner stove/oven, a special dry storage compartment and a pullout trash container. All designed to keep your crew, guests and chef happy.
The athwartship Aft Cabin is aft of the Saloon on Port. There is a large Hanging Locker at the entry and still lots of room to dress.
Like all IPs there is great light and ventilation with 11 opening ports w/screens, 5 Deck Hatches & 3 Dorades with Screens.
The Companionway is on center with 3-steps up to the cockpit with facing bench seats that are long enough to making room for sailing, entertaining and sleeping under the stars. The helm is aft on center with a drop-down ladder that gets you to the molded in Swim Platform and into your dinghy or the water.
The clever and luxurious build of the 350 feels and performs like a larger vessel that will take you safely and comfortably to your favorite gunkhole or on that cruise you have been dreaming of.
