Manufacturer Provided Description
With exciting innovation and superior engineering, the Hunter 26 follows the successful Hunter 23.5 and Hunter 19. Performance on all points of sail are enhanced by the high aspect ratio centerboard and rudder. With its optional trailer and water ballast design, the Hunter 26 is simple to rig and easy to tow. The Hunter 26's voluminous interior and more than ample berths, full galley, private head, and large dinette compliment the boat's livability. The Hunter 26 comes equipped with everything

from sails to safety gear; in fact, Hunter's standard Cruise Pac is one of the most complete packages of marine gear available -

One of the best designed and largest trailerable cruisers available. This Hunter 26 comes with the multi-featured Cruiser Pac. The Cockpit has two teak Captains Seats, Large Benches and a Cocktail Table.

The Water Ballast Hull makes the boat much lighter for trailering. The retractable keel allows the boat to sit low on the trailer and when retraced while sailing allows sailing in shallow waters and easy beach access.

The cabin below deck is spacious, comfortable and uncluttered with a large removable dining table that easily seats six. The interior is by far the largest of any boat in its class. The galley has a sink with pump faucet, alcohol stove, counter and storage space and a specific enclosure for a large ice chest. The Head is completely enclosed with Vanity, Sink, Wet Locker and Porta Potti. Each area is well lighted with ceiling fixtures and ventilation throughout.

Aft is a Queen Size Bed, the bow has a V-Berth for two and the port and Starboard side benches easily sleep two children.

The Cockpit easily seat eight and the two elevated teak Captains Chairs make for easy navigation.

This boat is extremely easy to sail. But sophisticated enough for the experienced yachtsman.

All in all, a Great Cruising Sailboat for Family and Friends to enjoy!
