Brokers Observations
Very seldom does one come across a vessel this well equipped for Ocean passages. All systems are heavy duty, well thought out and redundant.
"Pegasus" is designed to take passengers that are not knowledgeable of Ocean passages out to sea in the comfort that they are accustomed.
Refurbishment of this vessel is constant and timely. Pegasus is a beautiful and well maintained vessel with the Captain being talented and absolutely knowledgeable of this type of ship.
Replacement value is anyone's guess, but probably north of 700k. It is felt that at the current asking price, this vessel is opportunity.
Why Selling?
The Captain has elected to take wounded veterans offshore. So that they might experience this type of freedom. This requires a vessel that would not heel (list). The Captain will employ a catamaran for this endeavor.
