This classic ketch is definitely a project that will require some significant investment to get everything sorted out. The boat has not been sailed in several years due to the age of the owner. On the plus side, KIRIN has custom LeFiel aluminum spars and is a rare late model with a great layout featuring three private staterooms and two heads, both with separate showers. The interior is gorgeous. There�s even a laundry closet with a stacking washer and dryer. The rebuilt Lehman 135 diesel only has 120 hours on it. However, the project list will include bottom paint, new thru-hulls, fixing the leaking pilothouse windows, new batteries, updating the electronics and generally going through all of the rigging and systems. Stanchions, traveler hardware, blocks, lines and lots of spares are onboard, but assembly will be required. Survey repairs will need to be completed right away if the new owner wishes to apply to keep the current slip.
